Anand Chandavarkar Multispeciality Hospital & Kalyani Medical Research Center (ACMH & KMRC), is a 50 beded Multispeciality Hospital equipped with state of art equipments providing comprehensive treatment and ultimate care for patients in wada and surrounding, Tehasil in Palghar district.
We strive to provide the best treatment for patient with health issues that belongs to all important medical fields such as surgery, OBGY, Orthopedic, ENT, Psychiatry, Pathology, Paediatric & Dermatology.
Bhumipujan Ceremony of this Hospital was carried out on 08-09-2011 at 12.30 pm in the presence of Honorable Mr. Madhukar Patil, Mr. Nandkumar Patil, Mr. Prafful Patil etc. But actual construction work was started on 06-10-2011and the work continue for approx. 2 years. Finally completion of RCC (GR +2) work and functioning of ground floor services started on 18 September 2013. Since inception on our foundation provides comprehensive health care , medical services and distinguishes its self as the hospital with commitment to meet the health care need of the people of wada and surrounding. based on the very essence of life care, compassion and commitment.
It is a community hospital runs on semi charitable basis with small margin of profit to sustain the health care model and maintenance.
One fine day, I read famous quote from Louise Brown saying that
“If you cannot return favour, pass it on”
During my medical education my teachers used to say that “Our society including a common man has given us the opportunity to study the medicine at the cost of their earnings, which was paid to govt.in the form of taxes so it is our duty to serve our people it took me to start this multi speciality hospital named Anand Chandavarkar Multispeciality hospital & Kalyani Medical Research Center ( ACMH& KMRC )
With co-operation of the philanthropic and generous minded Shree. Mohan Anand Chandavarkar who helped us to build this Hospital to provide modern Healthcare facilities to the needy people of Wada without distinction of caste, creed, religion or financial background.
A small beginning 09 year back with a small nursing home on rented place with 10 beds being setup in Kudus. The nursing home soon grew within 9 years and later on took a shape of multi-speciality hospital. As there is no low cost Multi-speciality hospital in this area where majority of people are living below poverty line and average earnings for labour is approximately Rs. 150 to 200 /- per day, which is very low as compared to Western countries.These people live in over crowded conditions and without any sanitary facilities, Pure water &hence they are more prone to infections like Malaria, Dysentery, Tuberculosis etc.
Second issue is that due to insufficient food or inappropriate knowledge about diet.Tribals in nearby areas suffer from malnutrition (Particularly babies, Mothers), Anaemia etc.
As the poor cannot afford the expenses of treatment they are going to “Tantriks” and “Babas” and waste their time as well as money and put their life in danger.
During the last12 years the hospital’s fame and excellence has spread far and wide. It is considered as one of the best well equipped & well maintained hospitals in Palghar district. Our policy of not refusing any patient, rich or poor, with or without attendant or may be in the last gasping stage, have saved many lives, especially the Highway accidents and trauma cases. Accident patients are brought by the police and volunteers from far away places like Manor and Jawhar which are almost 60 km away. To upgrade the needs of super specialized surgeries, the hospital already has a State of the Art Operation Theatre complex, where specialised surgeries like laparoscopy, Spine surgery , Joint replacement surgeries & Cancer Surgeries are now routinely done. The new ICU, IBCU, NICU has capacity to handle 15 patients to make a total count of 50 beds in this Hospital. Medical services are making rapid strides of progress almost every day, To keep pace with these developments our hospital is upgrading itself every day by adding more and more latest state of the art equipment and gadgets to provide world class treatment.Inspite of all negative factors and adverse entrusted to implement the project rendering low cost efficient medical care by well trained medical & para medical staffs.
Lastly I would like to mention providing affordable care is a commitment because this Hospital is for the needy people, by the people and of the people.
